poète - created from concentrated raisins IGP 34. Intensive work in the vineyard just before the harvest in order to lightly dry out the bunches of grapes and concentrate the flavours and natural sugars. We leave less residual sugar than for our Vin Doux Naturel wines and maintain a lively acidity to carry the mature fruit flavours. A wonderful companion to strong and blue cheeses. It will also go very well with spicy black pudding or offal, game birds and orchard fruits in crumble.

Pierre and Julie met in Mexico whilst they were backpacking around the world. This long journey guided them inexorably towards their vineyard in Vic-Mireval, at the foot of which, in 1854, Gustave Courbet painted "La Rencontre".
Specialised in Muscat à Petits Grains Blanc, our vignes overlook the village of Mireval and the Mediterranean Sea and are situated in a protected zone of natural interest, midway between Sète and Montpellier.
In our cellar, implanted at Vic-La-Gardiole, we work on a crescendo of maturity of our grapes and use various methods of winemaking, so that we can reveal the "painters palette" of this aromatic variety and create a range of modern, surprising wines.

- <p><strong>philosophe – "entre deux" IGP 34</strong>. Created from the blend of a young muscat sec and a richly ripe harvest that has been aged in barrel. Neither too sweet or too dry, its first round attack leaves its place on the palate to a fruity dryness. Favourite for an evening among friends and family reunions, on can open it for the apero and continue for the meal. Think of mediterranean dishes - grills of fish and fowl, paella, tagine, a rabbit and autumn fruit casserole, scallops in a reduced balsamic sauce or a pork cutlet in rich sauce or a crown of lamb. For dessert an almond or apricot pastry perhaps...</p>
- <p>rencontre- muscat sec IGP 34. No residual sugar and produced solely from free-run juice to give a pure expression of delicate aromas, with a persistence in the mouth that will surprise you. Fruits of the sea, salads and vegetable dishes, mousselines - delicate flavours which will be carried by this wine. Don't be afraid to serve it with white meat and fish and even charcuterie meats - where it will cut through the fat to leave the meat to do the talking.</p>
