For the farmers :
The agricultural world is full of farmers with innovative projects, ideas for new machines, clever equipment. These projects often remain in the state of ideas, for lack of time or technical means.
AgriLab has been imagined for them! This unique structure in France was built on the Beauvais campus, at the heart of the UniLaSalle farm.
A collaborative innovation center for agriculture
AgriLab is a 1,500m² collaborative innovation center for agriculture located in a farm. AgriLab is an experimental laboratory focused on open innovation 2.0 which promotes free software and sharing of knowledge, while promoting manufacturing at a local level.
Inspired by the Fablab movement, AgriLab allow to "make (almost) everything with the minimum of machines".
You can realise your project, from digital design, electronics to mechanical machining, in this same place.
The innovation center offers “à la carte” services (privatization of machines, engineering services, advanced training, etc.).
A FabLab open to everyone
AgriLab is both an innovation center, but also a FabLab open to everyone, and for all projects (not just agricultural). AgriLab thus promotes a mix of profiles and approaches. This is how innovations are born.
The AgriLab FabLab is based on knowledge sharing and mutual aid with a very low cost. Each member can follow weekly training, use the machines and be accompanied on his project. In return, projects must be sourced on the Internet.
A FabAcademy to learn rapid prototyping
The FabAcademy is a digital manufacturing program led by Neil Gershenfeld, founder of the course titled "How to Make (Almost) Anything" at the Center For Bits and Atoms at MIT. It started in the United States in 2009 and is now available in over a hundred locations around the world.
AgriLab is recognized as a FabAcademy node, and offers a 6-month training course to learn rapid prototyping.
4 missions for AgriLab:

Prototyping: Be able to make (almost) everything in one place:
AgriLab has 6 prototyping areas (DataLab, ElectroLab, FabLab 2D, FabLab 3D, MecaLab, MediaLab) and a team with diverse skills. Trainings of all levels are conducted every week to allow members to become autonomous to prototype themselves.

 Open and bottom-up innovation:
The first objective of this center is to give voice to the farmers who come with their projects. The role of AgriLab is to support them in order to enable members to become autonomous.
AgriLab and based on the free sharing of spaces, machines, skills and knowledge.

 A community and networks:
AgriLab is also a place of exchange between farmers, students, teacher-researchers, agro-equipment manufacturers, farmers' partners (cooperatives, management centers, etc.), IT services companies and startups in an adapted environment to their needs.

 Respect for life:
AgriLab belongs to a large international network of sharing and exchanges (inter-university networks, agricultural innovation networks, FabLab networks, LivingLabs networks) in order to contribute to the co-development of a sustainable agriculture.
