Bleu de Gex Haut-Jura
It is a very soft Blue cheese with a slight bitterness on the palate. It is produced by only 4 cheese factories at an altitude of over 800m in the Haut-Jura Regional Natural Park. Montbélirade cows are fed hay in winter and grass on mountain pastures in summer. This know-how gives a Blue Chesse with lactic, vanilla and undergrowth mushroom aromas.
